Many Experts Were Invited by WestVac Biopharma to Carry Out GMP Training
From October 3 to 5, 2021, the GMP training conference of WestVac BioPharma Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "WestVac Biopharma") was held in Bio-town, Chengdu. The training was taught by Ian Richard Thrussell, former head of the WHO pre-confirmation inspection department and chief inspector, and ZHANG Hua, a rotating GMP inspector of the WHO pre-confirmation team, and a well-known GMP expert in the pharmaceutical industry. WEI Yuquan, Chairman of WestVac Biopharma, and more than 70 staff from WestVac Biopharma's manufacture and quality departments attended the meeting.The theme of the conference was the key to biological preparations and vaccine production. During the three-day conference, WEI Yuquan, Chairman of WestVac Biopharma, had an introduction to the expert lecturers on WestVac Biopharma’s vaccine R＆D progress, workshop construction, talent reserve and institutional improvement, and proposed that WestVac Biopharma shall require itself to be an internationally advanced biomedical company with world-class standards.Centring on the process verification, control strategy, effective quality assurance (QA) and quality control issues that WestVac Biopharma focused on, the expert lecturers had in-depth communication with the WestVac Biopharma team.In addition, during the lectures, the expert team also came to the WestVac Biopharma vaccine manufacture workshop to provide on-site guidance to key manufacture and quality personnel.
